There has been a consistent oversupply of QBs at both the DSFL and ISFL levels of this league. We consistently see more QBs creating than roster spots available for them, making it quite difficult for even the most elite earners to find a place to stay at the ISFL level. This means you will need to share playing time with at least one other QB in the DSFL, and you likely will be asked to switch positions when you enter ISFL draft. We encourage you to consider this as you decide whether QB is the right position for you, and invite you to speak with any member of the rookie mentor team (2lzy, Bunny, Gadget, Kotasa, negs, painted, Pat, Raven, RussDrivesTheBuss, Tesla, TubaDeus, woelkers, yonggarius, ZootTX) if you want to discuss your options more! Everything looks good so you are approved, welcome to the ISFL! We invite you to join our Rookie Discord, if you haven't already.
Because you joined after the waiver deadline, you will be entered into the DSFL Draft which will be held at 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 15th. Don't worry though, you will get to see your player in action starting on Wednesday, December 7th during the Prospect Bowl! You will be able to watch the draft presentation and the Prospect Bowl on our YouTube channel.
The next thing you should do - if you haven't already - is create an update page in this forum. You may use this video provided by one of our rookie mentors to help you through this process if you would like. Once you do that, there are a few things you can do to get started on your player:
1. You can find this week's activity check in this forum. You can post there each week for 2 free TPE.
2. Each new member gets one free training to start off with, worth 5 TPE (recreates are not eligible for this free training). After that, you can pay for weekly trainings in the bank.
3. You can find the current point tasks in this forum. Most of these will be predictions or short written (or graphic!) responses to a prompt. NOTE: You can only claim TPE for tasks started AND completed AFTER your player has been created. If this is your first player, you can also complete the Rookie Point Task for a nice 12 TPE, $3,000,000 boost to start you off on the right foot.
4. A few days after the draft, you can check this forum to find this season's training camp thread, which is worth 10 TPE.
5. We encourage you to create a wiki article about your player. Don't be afraid to add background information such as your player's personal history. Have fun with it! You can do that here, and you'll be awarded 10 TPE.
6. Pick a "likeness" or "render" - a person that you want your player to look like. You can post your choice in the given format here.
