Hello good people, Ultimus is not the focus of this. Today, I want to focus on the upcoming expansion draft and see how certain players can preform with these expansion teams. Before we get into my projections, we must know the rules of the expansion draft. The rules go as follows:
"- The format will be a 14 round snake draft
- Whoever selects first first will be decided by lottery
- Each team has 6 initial protection slots
- Any active GM players must be protected by the team with their protection slots
- After a player is taken in the expansion draft, their team is able to assign protection on another player.
- S15 players are exempt from the expansion draft
- Teams can use "Free Agent passes" in lieu of a protection slot. They can then re-sign the number of free agents that you have FA passes
- Free Agents cannot be drafted in the expansion draft
- a team can only lose 4 players in the expansion draft. Once the 4th player is taken from your team, all your remaining players are safe from expansion
- expansion GM and co-GM players will count as a player taken in the expansion draft, but will not be taken through the draft order"
With this out of the way, we can now see the players and their projected destinations.
Rose Jenkins QB (@jiggly_333) Current TPE: 484 Best Destination: Chicago
Let's get my rival out of the way first, Jenkins was originally drafted as a backup QB to Joliet Christ, But has been the center of the Kansas City Coyotes for a while now. I think his native Chicago will be the best fit for him, as Jenkins will a 1200+ TPE receiver (Kazmir Oles) to work with. Unfortunately, Jenkins will have to play her dreaded rival, Ryan Leaf Jr many times to come.
Sunnycursed WR (@ADwyer87) Current TPE: 963 Best Destination: Chicago
Leaf, why did you put someone who's likely going to be protected? Because I like to speculate stuff, It's simple. Sunnycursed seems to be the odd man out in a declining otters team, but the arm of Jenkins can help him out instead of a slow Showbiz.
Dick Wizardry RB (@AdamS) Current TPE: 875 Best Destination: Austin
Oh look, a Gm boring. Shut up critics, Wizardry is for sure going to Austin, and Yellowknife will get an extra protection slot for it. Wizardry will obviously lead the running game in the lone star state.
I know this is only 3 players but the rest of them are just hard to see going where because there's a chance that someone big I missed goes somewhere from somewhere expected like an inactive 400 TPE linebacker. [/b]
