Assigning every team a flag

You may be wondering how I'll start this very random media off, and you wouldn't be alone there! Well, I guess I should just start by saying I'm very bored, and I'm also a bit of a flag nerd (I can name every flag on sporcle in less than 7 minutes. Yes, please applaud). Don't ask me why, but I love being able to associate the vibes of a flag to a country (yes, I also like geography), and I figured why not give every ISFL team and DSFL team flags to associate them with. Most of these will be based purely off of colors and vibes, and not much more. There may be just a few exceptions. I'm not entirely sure yet. (Yes I know some flags are in varying sizes. I got the images in the weirdest way I possibly could've so please cut me some slack)

Baltimore
USA 

Might it be boring to start off using the USA? Well, yeah, kind of. But their logo is pretty damn clean, just like the American flag, and them actually being in the USA helps out a bit. Besides, I already have better ideas for most other American teams. (Plus, there are like two flags with orange, and neither fit the vibes...)

Berlin
East Timor / Timor Leste / (I'm not sure about the official name, I've heard both, please don't yell at me)

Berlin's colors are obviously based off of Germany, so it makes it kind of hard to find a flag that isn't Germany or Belgium that fits both the color scheme and the vibes, but I settled on this one. The colors obviously match up, and I think the solo star nicely represents their single playoff appearance.

Cape Town
Mauritania

Purple and orange? You guys really had to choose purple and orange as your color scheme, when no national flags have literally any purple and only 2 have orange? Whatever. You guys made it impossible to pick based off color, so I guess this is entirely vibes. Even though this took a good 10 minutes to pick (I'm crazy, don't judge me), I'm pretty happy with this one. I think it's rather fitting.

Colorado
Papua New Guinea

I love this flag. You guys should be honored I'm assigning it to you. Even though there's no hint of blue like the Yeti logo, it covers every every other color, and is all around very clean and one of the best flags, much like the Yeti logo. 

Osaka
Marshall Islands

I... I don't even know how to explain this one. I like the modern feel of the flag, and since Osaka is pretty damn modern, the rebrand was recent, and main color is blue, I think it fits. 


Sarasota 
Sierra Leone

It's literally perfect. I don't care what anybody says. The colors, vibes, everything. I don't think I need to say much more. 


Yellowknife
St. Lucia

Oh my lord, Yellowknife is so damn pretty... It's only right you get one of the best flags. St. Lucia without a doubt has the 2nd best flag, and with light blue and black being main colors in both the Wraiths logo and the St. Lucia flag, I think this is the only correct choice.


Arizona
Malawi

Again, AZ's color scheme isn't really in any flags, so this is just vibes. Yes, I know Malawi's flag is ugly, but it's not my fault. I don't make the rules.


Austin
Utuado - Puerto Rico

Okay, whenever the next rebrand happens we need to pick a somewhat normal color scheme, because dirt brown and turquoise ARE NOT ON ANY NATIONAL FLAGS. I had to dig to find this flag after randomly remembering it existed. I did my best to make all of these national flags, but apparently Austin wouldn't let that slide. So here you are, with a flag that belongs to a population of 28.3k. I don't have much more to add to this, besides saying I'm not sure if I can ever top this level of weird in another media. Anyway...


Honolulu
New Caledonia 

This was one of the few where I new what flag I wanted to use from the start. It's just so damn fitting, the blue, the yellow, and the fact that I have no idea about what's going on with it. It all fits so perfectly. That's all I got.


New Orleans
Tokyo - Japan

Can the asexual flag count? No? It has to at least be the flag of a city at this point? Whatever. I'm really starting to stray from where this started, but oh well. This flag fits in every single way besides the fact it's not a national flag. I don't care what anybody says. This is practically perfect.


New York
Guyana

I was between Guyana, Suriname and Turkmenistan for this one, but I feel like Guyana's just barely beats out Suriname here. The green, the bits of white and black, I even get the right vibes from it. May it be a bit boring and not as cool as Utuado's? Sure, but it feels right.


OCO
Kazakhstan

Do I even really need to explain that I'd leave my favorite flag for my new team? I could go on and on about this flag's design. The sky blue, the nice yellow, the fact that there's a bird on it. But I'll save you all that rambling. It's just SO clean, just like the OCO logo and simple color scheme. It's perfect for OCO and the vibes.


San Jose
Mozambique

This is definitely one of the more difficult ones so far, and I'm not even sure how to explain it. I mean this in the nicest way possible, but to be completely honest San Jose is just pretty... irrelevant in my world. Their like the Colts of the ISFL. They don't have any super active young players like Midknight or, I do hate to use myself here, but myself, like you might expect a not so great team to have. I know in the S50 draft they were picking down at 10, but still... Anyway, I'm not here to analyze San Jose's team and go off on a mini tangent, am I? I guess that's what happens have I really have no reasoning for this flag other than vibes and their green kinda matching up with this green.

Dear god, I don't want to start by complaining about a color scheme not being common once again, BUT WHAT THE HELL??? PURPLE AND YELLOW? The designers obviously didn't account for this media when branding KCC like they should've. Anyway, here's a simple, yet amazing flag. The yellow circle fits perfectly with their card(?) on the forums front page, and the light blue is super clean, and rather fitting for the vibe I get from KCC. And yes, if you can't tell, I like flags that are mostly light blue with some yellow.


London
Brunei

I think I should start a petition to add gold to the flag of literally any nation, because it's criminal how gold, not yellow, but gold, is not on any national flag. Once again, I'm ranting, but oh well. The yellow on the Brunei flag is basically as close as you'll get to an actual gold, plus they have some nice black on there that fits in well. I think Brunei fits pretty well with the "Royals", as Brunei is obviously pretty damn rich themselves. I think the vibes fit nicely, and if it weren't for the ugly red on it, I think it'd be pretty close to perfect.


Minnesota
Botswana

I don't think I have to explain this. Have you seen Minnesota's color scheme? Yes? Then you understand. This flag is actually perfect for Minnesota. That's all I've got for this one.


Portland
Myanmar 

I'll admit this one is a bit of a stretch, but the white star and the green being the central stripe is enough for me. Again, that's about all I have to say about this one.


Bondi Beach
CAR (Central African Republic)

There's a lot going on here, just like Bondi's logo. The hecticness of it is all I needed to see to know this is right. If Bondi had a bit of red instead of purple, this would be perfect as far as the colors go.


Dallas
North Korea

I don't want to explain this one

Estonia

I hate to give Norfolk such a good flag, but it just fits so well... The vibes, the colors, the everything. You are very welcome, Norfolk.


Tijuana
Angola

Last, but far from least, we have Tijuana. Some people may not agree, but I think Angola is at minimum a top 5 national flag. It's nice to look at, it's got a good color scheme, it's just all around awesome. And of course, it fits Tijuana nicely. The red, the black, the gold in the middle to represent our 13 Ultimini trophies. Perfect, clean and beautiful are some words I would use to describe this choice with.

I will say that this was probably the only media I've done that I've actually had fun doing so far, so I hope you enjoyed it at least a little bit too! OK, a bit of a safe choice, but I can see the history behind that selection. The Star Spangled Banner was written about the defense of this city against the British, it makes sense to associate it with this city in particular
