The turning point of Armstrong’s career actually occurred in the S14 DSFL draft. Armstrong was having a rough a start to his career as he was cut from the Pythons after S13 without getting any playing time. In the S14 DSFL draft, the Pythons drafted him in the 11th round as a possible backup. All Armstrong needed was a chance, and he managed to win the starting job. He proceeded to have a record breaking season in which he broke the single season TD pass record of 22. He led his team all the way to an Ultimus berth and victory. After the season he was awarded the NSFL MVP, OPOY, OROY, QBotY. He completely cleaned out most major awards in the S14 DSFL. This set the tone for the rest of his career. Armstrong led his team to 6 straight championship game berths between the DSFL and NSFL.. He won three straight NSFL MVP awards, and straight Ultimus awards. He is now at the twilight of his career. While he wished he won more Ultimus’s and MVP’s, he’s simply had an absolutely fantastic NSFL career and will see himself inducted into the NSFL Hall of Fame. We will see what Armstrong comes up with in the last games of his career.

Venus Powers’ career was going rather swimmingly two seasons into her ISFL career, including three Pro Bowl nods and the S21 Punter of the Year award. With only one year left on her rookie deal, she was planning to sign an extension with the Philadelphia Liberty that would keep her in the City of Brotherly Love for another three years and set her on track to break every team kicking and punting record. The only obstacle remaining was a tricky little thing called the expansion draft, and Venus just happened to not be protected by the Liberty. And with the 14th overall pick in that draft, she was snatched up by the Honolulu Hahalua. This decision created a number of ripple effects for all parties involved. The Liberty, previously set at the specialist position, called up kicker Lefty Louis from the DSFL to fill the void. The Hahalua, on the other hand, immediately plugged the position without needing to waste a draft slot on a kicker (although they decided to anyway, for reasons unknown). And Venus Powers herself, previously set on being a Liberty player for life, directed her team first mentality towards her new home, and inked the extension that would hopefully keep her employed by Honolulu for the rest of her career.

Wow, my first point task on this site. Not doing a tons of things on this site is kind of what led to the turning point. You see, I was drafted into the NSFL by New Orleans Second Line, but as I was busy in real life, Crisco did not really get updated much. The turning point was being drafted by the Austin Copperheads in the expansion draft. Joining into the locker room, I got a lot more active because I liked the guys in the locker room and did not want to let them down. Also, my real life had opened up a bit so I was more willing to update Crisco.It was nice to see him beginning to do well too.

As I updated more, I got better...duh. It culminated in the Austin Copperheads winning the Ultimus and me winning both Punter and Kicker of the Year a few years back. If I did not join Austin, I probably would have been less than semi-active and probably left by the wayside by New Orleans at some point. I am glad that the Copperheads saw some potential in me and drafted me, because it allowed me to realize my potential. So yeah, the turning point of Crisco's NSFL career was being picked by Austin. When Randy Vuxta entered the land of college ball, he was ready to show the world just how dominant of a receiver that he could be. He had dealt with a nasty injury during his time in high school, but through training was able to move forward on the field and go to a local D2 university. Vuxta was ready to show that all the D1 schools that passed on him would soon regret that decision. There was just one problem and it happened during the first week of practice. Throughout the week Vuxta had been taking snaps at WR and running back, and he believed it was to help get him back to game speed due to his recent injury. However, as the first week ended Vuxta found himself inside his college coaches office. Vuxta was there informed that they did not need him as a wide receiver, at least in his first season. However, they knew how great of an athlete he was so they were wondering if he would switch to running back for the season. Vuxta then realized he had a choice. Learn a new position for a season or miss out on his chance to play college ball. Vuxta quickly agreed to the position switch and looking back is glad he made the decision. Being a running back taught him different ways to view the field and find the correct holes to succeed. Vuxta would later be moved back to wide receiver, but became a gadget player playing (and succeeding) at two positions. This was also a skill that several pro teams liked: Vuxtas ability to switch positions for the betterment of the entire team.

Back in S1, King Bronko made the huge move to practice being a quarterback for a change, after S1 Arizona Outlaws leading man Vincent Draxel's devotion to the team and the league were brought into question due to his many absent practices. The decision was one that very much would affect his future.

First the change was seen in the Ultimus, where in Ultimus I, Bronko came in during garbage time and set the record for best passer rating in the playoffs, one that stood for over a decade. From that point on, it made perfect sense to make sure that Bronko was the full time QB moving forward.

How this changed later though was simple. Dwyer was behind many very qualified WRs in Arizona, and would never really see the light of day, as S1 provedwith his paltry showing in receiving yards. However, this move put him right in the most important position in the entire offense, and he excelled in it! If not for Boss, he would have had many awards to his name. He retired with the season record for most touchdowns and highest completion percentage, and today 15 seasons later you still see his name plastered all over the top 10 leaderboards for the league. In the end, this change is what helped Bronko go from what would have ended up being an afterthought of a WR career, something no one would ever remember him for, to a great hall of fame quarterback who will be known hopefully for many seasons to come

There have been many moments in my life that has shaped my player into the player he is today. However, no moment was more pivotal during the 2036 SEC championship against Alabama during my junior year at Florida. The context behind this moment is that going into the championship game, I was the immediate backup DE to our star DE, Ranger Grand. With the two of us in the rotation, we spearheaded and maintained a championship level defense that enabled us to get that point. However, a few days before the SEC championship game, Grand had a freak accident and broke his foot, leaving us without our best defensive player to defend against Bama's offense. As a result, my player, Ranger, was elevated to the starting DE position. Ranger was very nervous as he was expected to play with the next man up mentality. To say that Ranger rose up to the challenge was an understatement; he led the Gators' defense to resounding shutdown of the Tide's offense as he became a defensive juggernaut, leading the team in tackles and disrupted many of the Tide's plays.

As a result of being elevated to the starting position and accepting the responsibility of the starting DE position, Ranger grew up and realized that he has more talent than he realizes, but also he realizes that to get even better at the next level, he must put in more work than ever!
