Hello wonderful ISFL users! It’s been a while since the last edition of Project Redraft, but we’re back! In case you haven’t been following the previous editions, this is a project that 9 league friends and I have been undertaking to redraft the entire league and assemble rosters as if we were starting new expansion teams, valuing both the immediate success and the future potential of the roster.
I’ll also note that we pulled the data we used for the draft and the writeups during last offseason, so at this point the TPE totals will often be out of line given earning this season. There will also be the occasional position switch we didn’t see coming ahead of time.

Round 15, Pick 1 - Santiago Condors
DOGWOOD MAPLE, Safety (S26)
@"Dogwood Maple" - 421 TPE
Slate: For my first Season 26 player of the draft, I fill out my secondary with a fantastic young safety to build around as the team matures. While there were a number of strong Season 25 safeties still available, I decided to go with the top earning safety from the Season 26 class instead to get a nearly guaranteed blue chip player at the position. While they may be slightly lacking TPE right now, Dogwood is a fantastic earner and will never have an issue with money for equipment due to his prolific media output. I can't publicly state that he's my favorite S26 player if I ever want to stop sleeping on the couch, but Dogwood is definitely up there in terms of users in that class that I enjoy seeing around the league and I am thrilled to add him to the Condors.
Round 15, Pick 2 - Seoul Searchers
DUKBURG QUAKSTAK, Cornerback (S25)
@Bwestfield - 610 TPE
Katarn: The Searchers manage to get youth and experience all in one pick with their selection of Dukburg QuakStak from user Bwestfield. The S25 cornerback class is quickly becoming a crowded one due to players position swapping, but Dukburg QuakStak is one of the OG's. QuakStak slots in as the nickel corner for Seoul and rounds out the secondary to be one of the best in this league. QuakStak is still young like fellow cornerback Rich Triplet and will only get better from here. Bigger than the player is the user, and Bwestfield is a big one. He is one of the few remaining active users since the league's inception. His ISFL resume is long, but most recently he founded the New York Silverbacks with user Woelkers. Dukburg will be a strong corner on the field and Bwestfield will be an even stronger presence in the locker room.
Round 15, Pick 3 - Tokyo Tanuki
JAMES CHO, Defensive End (S22)
@cho1325 - 940 TPE
Swanty: James Cho's user might have been inactive at the time of this draft, but I couldn't pass up a close to 1000 TPE defensive end this late in the draft, especially one with a couple of years to go before regression kicks in. Perhaps somewhat at odds to the championship window in a few season's time, Cho will be an extremely strong stopgap until we can pick up our long term 2nd defensive end in one of the next few drafts. And of course, if Cho starts earning again we might be able to stretch a few more seasons out of him as the final piece in our defence. Picking up Cho here leaves our options open in terms of running a 3-4 or 4-3 defence, with 3 DLs and 3 LBs for now.
Round 15, Pick 4 - Fargo Woodchippers
RICHARD LITTLEWOOD, Offensive Line (S26)
@LatinViking - 427 TPE
Zayn: I wanted to snag a 2nd O-Line here, and I realized how much TPE this young player has earned. Someone I remember who fell in the draft due to his demands of playing right away, LatinViking is now at a TPE level were he merrits his demands to be called up. Being pared up with another O-Line who is several seasons older than him, LatinViking is a very good pick at this spot. You do not see many Max Earning O-Lines and Littlewood is just that, he has been earning at a high rate, catching up to many S25's already. I know he has a slight negative reputation around the league, but i have talked to him personally a few times, and think hes a pretty nice dude and im happy to have him on my team for years to come.
Round 15, Pick 5 - Western Reds
MASON BLAYLOCK, Safety (S19)
@Jay_Doctor - 1249 TPE
Simo: Well, it had to happen at some point, a pick for defence. I just always thought there would be more offensive positions to fill but from here on we need defence. Mason Blaylock is the highest TPE defender left and we are thrilled to have them on board the Western Reds as we start building our secondary. This pick also covers any medical needs we might have as they are a doctor and we all know people can't lie on the internet so I just assume they have a history in the medical field. Happy to have them join the team and they'll be a great addition into the WR to help with the planning side of it all.
Round 15, Pick 6 - Munich Machtapparat
BAMBAM MCMULLET, Linebacker (S26)
@manicmav36 - 431 TPE
Pat: For my first Season 26 player I figured I couldn't do much better than picking the person who was picked first overall in the draft - Bam Bam McMullet. There are a few reasons for me to take this pick. 1) I needed LB depth in a bad way as I haven't taken a Linebacker since the fourth round. 2) Bam Bam McMullet is a fantastic name for a player. 3) He spent his one season in the DSFL in Tijuana and won an Ultimini there. 4) User ManicMav is one of the best users in this league. This pick was definitely a pick for the future disguised as a pick of immediate need. Honestly, I was a little surprised that Manic wasn't taken during the recent run on Linebackers, but I'm super pumped that I got the chance to snag him.
Round 15, Pick 7 - Pacific Ocean Gulls
DARREN PAMA, Running Back (S25)
@ztarwarz - 596 TPE
Joefish: With big pick number 15, I get myself my second running back, and I'm very happy with this one. Darren Pama is the highest TPE running back in his draft class. Speaking of which, he's also very young. As a player from season 25, he's got plenty of time left on the league to hopefully do great things for my team. With this pick, I not only get an amazing player at the best position in the game, I also get an awesome user as well. ztarwarz was on the Portland Pythons, the team that I am in the war room for, so I know him better than a lot of the other users in the league. He's a great presence in the locekr room who's always fun to be around. One thing I'm seeing though is that.... he's switched positions to wide receiver? The traitor. Smh. I need to get this kid in my locker room as quickly as possible before he becomes too far lost to the ways of the pass catcher. CAW
Round 15, Pick 8 - Bali Banteng
NICHOLAS AYERS, Running Back (S23)
@Faded - 733 TPE
Rev: Faded sux lmap. With the 148th pick of the redraft, the Bali Blunderbusses select running back Nicholas Ayers from the Honolulu Hahahahalmfaoroflua. Ayers is a season 23 speedster who is due for a big year - he didn't have the most exciting statline to close out last season, but he's currently on pace for 2192 all-purpose yards this season (ignore the fact that he has only played one game) so I'd say there's evidence to support my theory that he's due to break out. Since, in this hypothetical world, I have stolen him from Honolulu, he will be breaking out for me instead of them. Take that, Gucci. Faded is a former member of HO, a musical adonis who could be ready to serenade you with Wonderwall at any moment, and a welcome addition to Bali.
Round 15, Pick 9 - Barbary Pirates
MARK WALKER, Wide Receiver (S25)
@deadlunatic - 577 TPE
Zeagle: Well, my throwy boy needed another catchy boy. Enter Mark Walker, catchy boy extrodinaire. Another S25 pickup for Barabry (The best class ever imo), Walker will be my WR2, and act as a perfect compliment to Kai Sakura. Walker is almost a max earner, and projects to peak well above 1000 TPE for his career. Once Sakura starts to regress, Walker will be there ready to be WR1. With the new sim seemingly being kinder to WR2s and WR3s, Mark Walker could see a significant number of targets, especially on deep routes, and thus could put up great numbers.
Round 15, Pick 10 - Krakow Knights
BEN STACKINPAPER, Cornerback (S22)
@benstackinpaper - 763 TPE
Hordle: With my next pick, I'm going for a bit younger and ready to improve. Mr Stackinpaper should be a great addition to my strong defense. With over 700 TPE, he should be able to preform with most of the wide recievers in the league. With Shields and Waters by his side. I'm sure that the three of them will be a shut down group. This pick will just about wrap up my secondary and my defense as a whole.
Round 16, Pick 1 - Krakow Knights
GRIFFIN PORTER, Linebacker (S23)
@AsylumParty - 780 TPE
Hordle: Honestly, I don't know what I'm doing. I don't know more then like 15 people in this league. Which is partly my fault but as an american it's my right to blame everyone else. Anyway! I needed Griffin Porter to round out my LB group. A younger player with room to grow and plenty of time to decide what type of player they want to be. Learning from the likes of Quaid and Kennedy. Porter should have pleanty of help developing into the player the team needs him to be. He's part of the Austin group and South is in there. So I'm sure he's cool. Yeah that's what this has come to blindly comparing people.
Round 16, Pick 2 - Barbary Pirates
MR. FORTY-TWO, Running Back (S26)
@C9Van - 436 TPE
Zeagle: The legend himself. Even though he couldn't make his way onto the DSFL RBotY ballot or into the first round of the ISFL draft, Mr. 42 has made his way right into my starting lineup. He will serve as my RB2 behind Tatsu Nakamura, and could be played in the slot in applicable formations if that's something Van would be interested in. Mr. 42's user Van would be a fun addition to our LR, as he is extremely passionate about the league. His firey personality will add some needed spunk to our LR, and him and qWest will have to fight to the death over who gets to serve on awards committee.
Round 16, Pick 3 - Bali Banteng
JOSEPH JOESTAR, Linebacker (S24)
@Lime - 738 TPE
Rev: With the 153rd pick in the redraft, the Bali Okay Boomers select season 24 linebacker Joseph Joestar from the Orange County Otters. Lime has it all - fire memes, excellent gfx, SHL clout, and a whopping five sacks through his first two ISFL games this season. Joestar is an expert at throwing offensive players down to the ground and then taunting them without the referees noticing, and that's the kind of bad mannered trickery I'm looking for on this defense. We're starting to reach the home stretch here! I've got a well rounded defense up to this point, with a LB3 who could be a LB1 on a lot of other teams, and an offense who is fixing to make other teams look silly on the reg
Round 16, Pick 4 - Pacific Ocean Gulls
VINCENT JONES, Linebacker (S26)
@huck24 - 436 TPE
Joefish: With this pick, I have two nice and strong and young players added to my team in a row, one on offense and now on defense with Vincent Jones, the linebacker from the New Orleans Second Line. Jones hasn't played in the ISFL yet, but now on the Gulls he'll be the team's third LB. I have no doubts that he'll be able to hold his own, even against the good offense of Simo's team, the Western Reds. Along with two great young players in a row, I get two great young users. I remember huck24 when he was first joining this league, and I was sad when Portland wasn't able to draft him in the DSFL. As for the ISFL, I'm taking matters into my own hands and drafting him to my team myself before anyone else can take him from me. Huck, glad to have you in the locker room, go on in and meet your fellows POGgers.
Round 16, Pick 5 - Munich Machtapparat
BABY YODA, Running Back (S21)
@SwagSloth - 971 TPE
Pat: Baby Yoda is an infant from the same unknown alien race as the Jedi Master Yoda. He has been hanging out with some Mandalorian fellow as they go planet-hopping across the galaxy. Okay, so, honestly, I don't know much about the player Baby Yoda nor the user, Swagsloth (I'm sorry!). I do know, however, that Yoda is one of the highest TPE Running Backs in the league, and by pairing him with Richard Gilbert I will have one of the best 1-2 combos in the entire league. Yoda and Gilbert will be great compliments to each other, as one is a Power Back and the other is a Speed Back, meaning my coaching staff (is that just me?) will be able to get creative with putting them both in different situations to succeed.
Round 16, Pick 6 - Western Reds
KORRIN ABERNATHY, Cornerback (S18)
@"Laser" - 1097 TPE
Simo: These are the kind of picks I was hoping to get on the defence side after we went so heavily offence to start out. Right here is a corner back right at the peak of their powers ready to join this team and lead by example from day one. They will form a very formidible corner back group with some of the other players that are coming soon which will make it very tough work for any opposition players. On top of that Laser is one of the best most nicest people you will find around the league so we are so happy to be able to add them to our team and get them in our locker room. They will also be able to make a huge impact to our war room with the amount of knowledge they have gathered over the years from GMing the Orange County Otters.
Round 16, Pick 7 - Fargo Woodchippers
RICHARD LEAKING, Linebacker (S25)
@ReverendOReily - 565 TPE
Zayn: A TPE fraud and a Walnut. Rev is one of those users that you just sort of have to deal with. I unfortunatly had to take a 3rd linebacker, and this scrub was on the board. The man who almost single handedly played so bad that OCO almost missed out of the playoffs, if there wasnt som Sim Fuckery that happened, Richard “Dick” Leaking is a man of little to no charecter that I have chosen to take a chance on as he could be a serviciable water boy if he put his mind to it. I mostly took this guy so Rev couldnt draft himself, cause again, he is a walnut and TPE Fraud, and Im scared that if he was drafted to the wrong team, the would expoit his Fraudulant behavior for evil
Round 16, Pick 8 - Tokyo Tanuki
TUGG SPEEDMAN, Wide Receiver (S26)
@"zakkyjohns" - 424 TPE
Swanty: I was extremely happy to pick up Tugg this late in the draft. One of the stars of the S26 class, zakkyjohns was a fantastic member of the London Royals locker room, though didn't last long as the ISFL deservedly brought him up to the big leagues. Speedman currently sits as the highest TPE wide receiver from that S26 class and will no doubt be a star wide receiver of the future. Sam Howitzer now has a top S24, S25 and S26 receiver to throw to, a trio whose number will be very good to start with, but will get better and better with age.
Round 16, Pick 9 - Seoul Searchers
MARIO MESSI, Wide Receiver (S26)
@KingSean - 406 TPE
Katarn: While Seoul already has two great starting wide receivers, they will need someone to play in the slot. Enter Mario Messi from user KingSean. Messi is still very young being only S26, but don't let his youth trick you into thinking he isn't talented. Messi has played two seasons in the DSFL with the Portland Pythons and already totaled 1,804 yards and 18 touchdowns on 160 receptions. While he has been called up to the ISFL, those DSFL career totals already put him in the top 10 for yards and touchdowns. Very impressive. While I do not know user KingSean very well, I know he is a good friend of both Slate and Mojo. Both of them are absolutely stellar human beings, so logically KingSean must be as well. The Searchers are very happy to have him.
Round 16, Pick 10 - Santiago Condors
BUSTER BAWLLS, Running Back (S25)
@ryd029aird13 - 423 TPE
Slate: While just looking at TPE this pick may seem like a reach, I knew immediately after I drafted Watts in the 2nd round that I just had to have Bawlls on my team. As far as I can tell, Ryan (I believe that's his real name, no way I'm going to attempt to write his forum username every time) is the only consistently active Fullback in the league, dating all the way back to the previous sim where he was the only Blocking Back not named Tatsu Nakamura (who was clearly not playing the archetype as intended). As I want to build the team around current/future offensive superstar Watts, a strong fullback was a necessity for my team vision and I didn't feel like I could wait any longer to grab Bawlls as the S25 and S26 players were starting to fly off the board. Ryan also adds a second Scotsman to my team to keep Asked Madden company in the wee morning hours.
Round 17, Pick 1 - Santiago Condors
JEEEEROY LENKINS, Cornerback (S25)
@LewisMelville - 541 TPE
Slate: With this pick I select back-to-back Turtlemen (I think? All the Scottish groups still have me confused a bit) and round out my secondary with another player from the deep S25 class of CBs. While Jeeeeroy will likely be relegated to playing nickel back for his first few seasons on the team behind a league veteran (Booker) and a higher-earning player from the same class (McJimmerson), Lenkins adds an important 5th defensive back to the team and one who projects to turn into a great starter in a few seasons time as he and McJimmerson can combine to lock down opposing WRs. I've also talked with LewisMelville like once or twice on Discord and it was a pleasure each time.
Round 17, Pick 2 - Seoul Searchers
RANDO CARDRISSIAN, Running Back (S21)
@GoonerBear - 960 TPE
Katarn: The rock to Joseph Petrongolo's roll, Rando Cardrissian will be running back 1B. Seoul was thrilled to be able to select Rando here for several reasons. First is simply the value. Rando just eclipsed 1000 TPE this season, so to be able to get that skilled of a player this far into the draft is undeniably awesome. Second is the role he will play. Rando currently shares carries with the famous Jamar Lackson. Given he will be doing the same with the Searchers, we feel that he will be able to pick up the offense quickly and effectively. User GoonerBear is a league veteran, with Rando being his second player (first one being linebacker Kolby Deringer, also of the San Jose Sabercats). Expansion teams can use all the veteran experience they can get, and I know GoonerBear will provide that.
Round 17, Pick 3 - Tokyo Tanuki
BOB ROBERTS, Safety (S25)
@zaynzk - 566 TPE
Swanty: I'm a little concerned to be taking a second safety from the same class as Lavigne, but I trust that these two will be one of the most feared safety pairings in the league. Zayn is a user on the rise, super active on Discord, the forums and twitter (maybe you've heard) and would slot in to the Tokyo war room with ease. It pains me a little to take a user from London's' bitter rivals Dallas, but having got to know zayn, he is genuinely a fantastic guy and I enjoy shooting the shit with him. I will just have to keep him and Z-Whiz at opposite ends of the locker room...
Round 17, Pick 4 - Fargo Woodchippers
MAKOTO OTAWARA, Defensive End (S26)
@TubbyTim69 - 386 TPE
Zayn: Firstly boo to swanty for drafting me with the last pick smh what a reach. In my plan to draft all the former GM's, I have snagged TubbyTim with this pick. Tim used to be the GM of Philly for over a year back in the day, and is currently in New Yorks War Room and I have worked with him very closely, this is a great user who has been an amazing addition to our war room in new york. I had penciled this guy in to fil this roll for a long time, and I decided this would be the time to get him. I knew that as a S26 who was not top of his class TPE wise, it would be a while before he was in danger of being picked, but I decided that I wanted to snag this peice of my D-Line. Also hes a washington football team fan so i need to get that locked in
Round 17, Pick 5 - Western Reds
BUBBA THUMPER, Defensive Tackle (S17)
@woelkers - 951 TPE
Simo: Back in the expansion draft Woelkers didn't draft me but there is no way I would be making that same mistake. You have probably noticed that we are a bit light on with the defensive side of the ball. We definitely need some gun players on the defensive line and what better person to plug in there than Bubba Thumper? Has been a very consistent force to be reckoned with for a long time and we know he will bring that same play for the Western Reds. Obviously as someone with GM experience we know they will be a key addition to our locker room and an amazing person with a lot of insight for our war room and during drafts. We are very excited to bring Bubba Thumper in and expect him to be a great mentor and example to some younger players that we will get in at some point.
Round 17, Pick 6 - Munich Machtapparat
FLASH PANDA, Wide Receiver (S21)
@juniped - 953 TPE
Pat: I am going to start this off by saying that I am so, so happy that Flash Panda somehow slid this far down the list. I get it, there were a number of other WRs who were either younger or higher in TPE, but there is only one Flash Panda and only one Juniped. For those of you who haven't had the chance to interact much with Juniped, I have to say you're missing out - unless you hate baseball then you're probably right to stay away. In all seriousness, Juniped is one of my favorite people in this league. He's been a General Manager before. He's always looking to put the team first. He's one of my most trusted members in the Philadelphia War Room. I could not be happier to add not only his player's abilities, but also Juniped the user to my roster.
Round 17, Pick 7 - Pacific Ocean Gulls
DAVID RECTOR, Cornerback (S18)
@ddrector - 1064 TPE
Joefish: Two Second Line players in a row? Sure, why not? Except now I go from young talent to literal old man. David Rector is the oldest player on the Pacific Ocean Gulls by more than a season, but that doesn't matter when you look at what he can do on the field. Rector is coming out of season 26 winning the award for cornerback of the year. I know he won't be on the team for too long, he basically will serve as a bridge for whatever CB I draft next, but I still get a very high profile player to add to the locker room and the war room if he wants it. I also get the chance to meet drector, the user behind David Rector, someone in the league wo I don't know as well as some of the other players in the league.
Round 17, Pick 8 - Bali Banteng
RANDY VUXTA, Cornerback (S20)
@roastfuego - 905 TPE
Rev: With the 168th pick of the redraft, the Bali Bumblebees (did I already use that one?) select season 22 cornerback Randy Vuxta from the Colorado Yeti. For the sake of this redraft, your reading experience, and my imaginary simulation football team, let's just pretend Soup didn't retire and recreate between the time I made this pick and the time this writeup is being published. Good? Good. Vuxta is an absolute chad in the secondary who is sure to lay pipe on any fool receiver who steps to him. More importantly, Soup will be in charge of organizing skriblio games for our LR. Welcome aboard, ding dong.
Round 17, Pick 9 - Barbary Pirates
HARLEY FANK, Wide Receiver (S25)
@Beebob - 560 TPE
Zeagle: I am super excited to welcome Harley Fank and Beebob to the Barabary Pirates! With Kai Sakura and Mark Walker already on my roster, adding a 600+ TPE WR3 seems like a great way to get the most out of my young QB. Since he is S25, he still has quite a few seasons until regression and will feature heavily in my passing attack.
Beebob is a user I have never interracted with much, but he's a site veteran, having been around since early spring 2019. I am hoping his experience on the site can add some veteran knowledge to our LR.
Round 17, Pick 10 - Krakow Knights
TREE GELBMAN, Tight End (S21)
@"RenoJacksonHS" - 929 TPE
Hordle: I didn't draft offense early and now most of the high TPE people are gone. But who cares!? TPE isn't important. With pick number 170, I have selected Tree Gelbman. An actual teammate of mine in the Butchers Organization. I'm hoping for like a Third and Tree style meme to pop up. Like how Witten was always open for the first down against Philly. (FUCK THE EAGLES) Anyway, at the time of writing this Tree has roughly 930 TPE. She's a threat for Sloth to work with and will aid in our team moving down the field. Though they were born in “The Sea” and I'm not sure if that's like the ocean or Seattle... Regardless! Tree TE. Victory!
