Double draft media boost
Ready to grade
It has been set in stone. The Colorado Yeti nervously awaited for their first pick of the S15 draft after trading back to the 11th overall pick with Arizona in order to gain more draft capital for this year. the question on the Colorado higher ups was, will they get their guy. After picks went by it seemed like the plan was coming together. Once San Jose made their selection a weight was lifted. The pick was already ready to be sent in. The war room began to celebrate. "With the 11th pick of the season 15 NSFL draft, the Colorado Yeti Select: Mo Berry, San Antonio Marshals." Yeti fans celebrate on their new defensive weapon. The celebration was yet to be over in Colorado. Mo Berry got the phone call and hoped on the next flight from San Antonio to Colorado to meet the executives and coaching staff. Berry got the facility tour. Tried on a Yeti helmet "perfect fit". Then it came down to talking business. After what seemed like a quick negotiation a deal was in place. 3 year 12.5 million dollar contract. Team option on the back end to give the Yeti organization the ability to re-sign Berry before his contract is up or cut him if something drastic happens down the road. The biggest news to come out of Colorado deal was the negotiation of a No Trade Clause at the request of Berry. Mo Berry then on record stated "Colorado took the time to interview me during the process and made me feel like I was their guy from day one. When they traded back I was starting to think something was up but there I was still on the board at pick 11 and I knew the phone call was coming. Once I was officially a Yeti I knew I had to return the favor that's why I wanted a no trade clause cause if they want me I want them. I ain't going anywhere. "
With this news look for Mo Betty to be leading the Yeti defense for year to come.
