Entering his 7th year in the ISFL, Cole Maxwell is no longer the spring chicken that used to attack his off season training. Truthfully it would probably do more damage to his body than good to be as relentless in his training as he was in his DSFL and early ISFL career. And so far his new method of training has shown great results, leading the league in receiving yards in the previous season, largely due to a strong second half of the season that might not have been possible if he burned himself out training during the months before. With that logic and the statistics to prove the effectiveness of it, Cole decided to skip the veteran voluntary work outs. He did, however, show up to the rookie mini camp to act as a player coach and help teach up the younger members of the receiving corps on the finer points of the game and some extra tips that have helped him in his career
Rookie minicamp was my first experience of a training camp at the professional level. It was much more intense and in depth than any camp I attended at NC State. The largest part was a new defensive line scheme as Bondi Beach runs a different 4-3 scheme than I was accustomed to. Most snaps I took at NC State were out of 1 technique right at the A Gap on the center's shoulder. This was done so I would get a double team allowing for my teammates to have a chance to get a free rush at either the QB or running back. In Bondi Beach, I've been put at 3 technique on the guard's outside shoulder between him and the tackle. This is because Jack is a much bigger tackle than I am which makes him a better option lining up against the center. This helps the Buccaneers as if Jack can get a double team from the guard I'm lining up against I can push onto the tackle which gives our defensive end a free pursuit
So for Tony Demonson , he attend the Berlin Salamanders summer camp, where he really worked on perfecting his speed game and become the fastest Cornerback out there, he now has a huge advantage over other players due too his elite speed, we wish to see Demonson work apon his intelligence for the game and position of cornerback and for the game as a whole, we also wish for him to improve apon his hands too make some more unbelievable defensive plays like he has been, Demonson his becoming one of the top talents on this Berlin Squad he is making his way too elite status among the cornerback postion, I hope for this year and next year too be Demonson real breakout years and hope too bring home some hardware along the way that all comes with practice but the love for the game is there for this player so we hope we get too see him really start to light up the highlight reals for at sportsnet
Spicy Ron approaches training the same way you would with any given RPG video game. By grinding low-level enemies until your experience is high enough to stomp the good stuff. So Ron's offseason training revolves around the routine of going back to his old youth football team to play line backer. Ron is in his mid 20s, and consistently grinds down 8 year olds in their local rec leagues with his superior strength and skill. Being a 250lb+ man, he's cause quite a few career ending injuries. Stomping out his competition before they get old enough to compete alongside him. If you take out the root, the plant will not grow. Ron knows this and uses it to the best of his ability. Still effortlessly racking up countless strip sack fumble recoveries for touchdowns. No 8 year old on this Earth can stop him, and he will use his experience to destroy the competition at the highest level.
The offseason was a busy time for Regina Ferraro fresh off her first-round selection in the ISFL Draft. Moving from Dallas to New York was a big change, as well as the increased intensity that came with transitioning from DSFL to ISFL training camp. She enjoyed fraternizing with the other newbies in rookie minicamp, as well as being mentored by her older peers. Regina also took advantage of the change in physicians and team trainers. Now that she is at the full professional level, she has sought lots of advice on how to improve her general physical conditioning so that she can continue to excel. Her speed has noticeably improved since she moved to New York, as well as her general endurance and strength. However, the best part about the move has been the new amusement parks she has been able to visit in her spare time, most notably Six Flags Great Adventure down in New Jersey an hour or so away.

While Sir Peter Jackson of the New Orleans Second Line is a bit of an old curmudgeon he is also a team first kind of guy and happily participated in the voluntary off season training activities. It is always good to get back into the swing of things and get a chance to see teammates after a long time apart. Sir Peter also enjoys showing the team a new movie he directed during the off season. While Sir Peter is not the oldest player on the team by any stretch of the imagination he is starting to get up there, but he knows his presence can help with the training of some of the younger players, especially the rookie. One of his biggest contributions is his keen eye during film study sessions. He is able to point out things that other players might not notice and help improve a players understanding of what to look for in the film room. There's been many times when a player made a big play on defense and then came up to Sir Peter and let him know he saw something that had been pointed out in the film room that let him make that play.
