(Graders: 50/50 split between wetwilleh / sensibledictator - 2x Media)
Welcome to a new and upcoming, fact-and-thrill seeking media series that is going to give renowned pieces such as the Doghouse and Weekly Mirror a run for their money and viewership! We are your hosts Willeh Strong (@wetwilleh) and Tyler Higbee II (@SensibleDictator), also called the Yap God and Yap Prodigy by some. In this series we will both show off our yapping ability to summarize what's been happening around the league from each of our perspectives. We have a slew of topics between the ISFL and DSFL leagues during the offseason that have caused quite an uproar so lets get right into it!YAP ISLAND?? DISCUSSING THE NEW DISCOVERY!
W: Recently a new image has circulated throughout the league of a place called "Yap Island" where Higbee and I were stated to be the president and vice president respectively. Was this sent as a form of respect to our art of yapping? Perhaps a diss that we talk too much? Regardless, I feel honored with these assumptions and welcome our new home in Yap Island with open arms. Having a new base of operations is important especially when starting this new media series as well. Little does everyone know that this new island houses many important yap related necessities for Higbee and I to conduct our business within the league. New discoveries such as this are helpful for the league and it can help bring recognition to the ISFL that we all know and love. While this location has been circulating in both DSFL and ISFL servers, it has also been seen on popular applications such as Instagram and Tiktok as a form of "meme". This meme may be used as an insult to our fellow yappers out in the world but we can all stand united in knowing there is somewhere for us Talkative Terry's to go back and yap away with no repercussions! I believe anyone who has a (recently developed) yap score above 200 in the league can have access to this new island and the yap score should be a newfound measure for determining the importance of players throughout the league. With correct calculations and a bit of in depth research on the discord servers, these two new discoveries can coincide with one another potentially very close in the future!!H: There was a rumor started that not many people know about since it was posted in the DSFL server. This rumor is that Willeh and I own an island called “Yap Island”. He also mentioned how I was president and Willeh is my Vice President. First off, I don’t know how Mac Manheim managed to find out where I live so early on into joining this server. It worries me for what he may discover in a month or two. Secondly, I would like to thank Griddy for graciously buying us this island for my 2 month anniversary since joining the ISFL. It is really great that he is willing to spend .001% of his generational wealth on a guy he met online. Now finally, regarding the rumor, I am the president of this island. It was obvious who the two leaders needed to be, as our yapping prowess is unmatched. Since I dominate the ISFL server, it was deemed fair that I become the president since that server is considered to be the bigger server. Willeh was named my Vice President because of the potential yapping ability he has. It has shown absurd peaks in the DSFL server and I believe it can eventually move to the ISFL server. This would be my ideal heir to the presidency, if I were to step down as the President of Yap Island. So yes, Willeh and I do rule over Yap Island and have no intentions of selling the island anytime soon.
WHO IS THE ONE YAPPER TO RULE THEM ALL?? WILLEH VS. HIGBEE DIVIDES THE DSFL SERVERS?!?!
W: With the new and recent introduction of polls added to the discord servers, there have been many intriguing and sometimes useless topics that participants of the ISFL server have contributed towards. This introduction led to a new poll (we won't discuss who set the poll) to determine "Who is the better Yapper?" between our very own Willeh Strong and Tyler Higbee II!! What was initially a lopsided poll in favor of myself, the newcomer, Higbee eventually pulled away to take the victory. The initial pull might have been due to DSFL class bias but Higbee stated his own average rank and level cleared that of myself. Higbee then stated, "Just wait till my boys get here" and oh did they ever. The S47 draft class came and quickly finished the close battle in an astounding fashion to put Higbee on top. This poll caused some in the server to not vote as a form of respect but also led to others in the server (our own Brad Woof) to assume that we were actually fighting which led to Bamford getting involved as well! As if a dog called our GM on us like we were two 5 year olds fighting in the aisle of a costco shopping center!!! While the so called "fight" was determined as friendly banter between two teammates, it further confirmed the fact that the rookie chat was dominated by both that of Higbee and myself. With even @CROney3 stating that rookie chat will be filled with green now and we should be deemed the "Portland Yappers". While I am not opposed to this name change, I agree that the two devoted yappers are in control of the rookie server at this time in our ISFL careers.
H: This was an interesting little poll that took place in the DSFL server. Willeh put up a poll about who was a better yapper between him and I. At first, I thought it was cool people were using the poll recently added to discord. However, after some minutes passed by, I realized Willeh was leading by a decent margin. This unsettled me because I felt like, although Willeh has been a great yapper since joining the league, he mainly focuses on the DSFL server while I tend to hit both very frequently. The poll did somewhat favor Willeh, since the people who only look into DSFL may see Willeh yapping a little bit more than me. The poll being in there definitely helped Willeh’s case. However, my S47 rookies finally ended up showing up. This allowed me to cut the lead and build my own which held for the length of the poll. Although this was a fun little poll, it was definitely annoying to see how my 2 months of yapping got overlooked because Willeh had 1 week better than me in the DSFL server. I am grateful that, in the end, my boys came through and ensured that my yapping legacy was not tarnished by the yap prodigy. This poll led to a friendly, at least in my eyes, argument between Willeh and I. We were both basically pleading our case for why we deserved a vote. Overall though, I don’t believe this affected our relationship at all. Willeh is still my yap prodigy and we still chat constantly.
UPDATED PARTS IN THE ZEN CONTROVERSY?? WHAT DO THE NUMBERS MEAN MASON?!?
W: In other recent news, renowned member of the ISFL community "Zen" has begun a new name changing meta with a 56 part finale similar to that of an anime filler episode that releases once every other week. This new name change always starts with the letter P and there has been many speculation on what it actually could mean. I personally believe it resets each time someone brings it up and it has even gotten to the point that our beloved Baron has brought out an old copy pasta about the fight turned love between herself and Zen. As I am typing this, a new detail has come to light where Zen has left the server?? Could this name change be leading up to something? Why do the parts keep resetting back to 1? If we find out we'll be sure to let you know though. While I myself don't spend too much time in the ISFL general chat because I like my psych and prefer to not lose brain cells, I have popped in occasionally to see what the general happenings around the league are. Another key update shows Zen coming back to the chat today with the name "NOTD: One Eye'd Larry" and acting like the name change game never happened. Curious Indeed. Zen further changed their name back to the OG Zenzeroni Xystarch II which as we all know is Jreed's arch nemesis which is sure to cause controversy in the general chat in the coming days. That's all I have on this evolving story but I'm sure that Higbee will have even more information that can help us get to this bottom of this name and number mystery extraordinaire! I wanted to add an extra note before posting, there has been YET ANOTHER name change which is now "NOTD: Charles Crunch". Name of the Day perhaps? Why pirates??H: I think everybody who is semi active in the discord knows the thing I am referring to. This has been a very interesting thing to follow and wondering what it truly is and when it will end. Nobody really knows how it works, I don’t think Zen even does, but we all know there is going to be a fat media rant about it. Throughout the past week or 2, we have seen Zen constantly changing his name to a number, a word starting with a P, and then having out of 53 at the end of the username. There have been hypotheses for how this gets reset. One of these is Griddy believing that if there is a reference to taking meds, the number automatically gets reset back to 1. This has been tested and doesn’t seem to be the case (at least in my eyes) but Griddy is still a firm believer which I respect. Also, recently, there was a breakdown in the zen name game. On the night of March 24th (at least for Americans), Zen changed the number in his name to #ERROR and promptly left the server for roughly 12 hours. This confused many people but nobody thought too much about it. However, on March 25th, Zen rejoined the discord and seems to have the persona of a pirate. I, for one, am very curious to see if this links at all to the zen name or if this is just another random zen game. I hope it links so we can continue the chaos that happens when zen changes the number and everybody tries to figure out if there is a link. I don’t have any hypothesis right now, but I do think there is some sort of key word, phrase, or reference that leads to the number being changed. For those wondering, the name of Zen’s new pirate persona is “NOTD: One Eyed Larry” and Zen now talks with a pirate. The NOTD could mean 2 things to me. Name of the day OR number of the day, which could mean these 2 name games are linked. That is all for me from now, but I will try to keep a close eye on Zen’s usernames from now on. And on March 25th, Zen is back to his original name and has no recollection of the other usernames. Very weird story brewing and hoping to get you all updated. This will be my last update but on March 26th, Zen’s new name was NOTD: Charles Crunch. I have legit no clue what Zen is cooking anymore so this will be my last update. Seems like a Name of the Day but who knows.
MCGRIDDY TAKING ON THE WEAKLY MIRROR?!? MEDIA TYCOONS AT WAR!!
W: For the viewers of the far inferior Weakly Mirror, you may have noticed the recurring drama of Jreed and the Weekly Mirror vs. McGriddy. A previous media post made by McGriddy titled ISFL Truth Part 1 was used to slander the Weakly Mirror, specifically their mistreatment of employees. Griddy teamed up with Jreed's nemesis Xystarch II who was previously mentioned and went through some of the underdoing's of previous employee's and intern's who have helped getting their media series up and running. This dig into another large name in media caused an uproar in the server leading to many other articles by the Weakly Mirror and Jreed in order to make a come back after the time taken off from the media piece. The final words of McGriddy's post mentioned a well known copypasta: "Overall, I enjoy being a member in the ISFL and mean no harm with this series towards anyone in this league. I'm just expressing what I see and feel but I don't let that stop me from doing what I love which is watching my little dot run around a fake field 3 days a week but such is life in the ISFL. DarknessRising, thank you for being a great commissioner and friend. I have enjoyed every second of my time in the league and look forward to many more years in the league". Don't we all Griddy, don't we all. Our opinion here at this Yapping series is to simply observe and talk about it as much as possible in order to get our measly discord yapping dollars but we will continue to monitor how this war of media tycoons evolves. However, I have seen firsthand the mistreatment and would like to acknowledge us here at WHAT'S YAPPENING?! accept a full 50/50 split for our work without the need more underlings to do the research for us.H: This one really came out of nowhere to be honest. The keen eye could see that something was brewing under the scenes but nobody would have expected such a massive conflict. This conflict mostly happened due to Griddy being a Weakly Mirror intern and then ultimately being fired. The exact reason is not released (I do not think) but I suspect Griddy asked for a larger percentage and the greedy Jreed denied the request. This greed leads to Griddy making one of the craziest rants I have seen in years. He attacks the Weakly Mirror constantly, talking about how they mishandled Bamford asking for a raise and, even though they somewhat learned from the Bamford instance, still underpay their employees. He also talks about how the only time they gave him creativity as a media creator, it was to rip into the former Weakly Mirror intern Bamford. From Griddy’s perspective, this looks like a very poorly run business that I would not want to get involved in. The best quote in there, at least in my gracious opinion, was “I am perplexed by league leadership, not mentioning any specific group, just how people let power get to their heads and use it to judge their decisions and not look at the actual facts and do random things to benefit them and only them. Now, in the past few weeks this has seemed to get even more rampant within the league.” This called out something I think everybody has thought at some point, how nobody is willing to actually challenge the Weakly Mirror. Thankfully, some elite media series like The Doghouse and The Daily Prophet, made by Brad Woof and Tim Riggins respectively, have both posted media to where we do not have to rely purely on the Weakly Mirror for our news. In previous seasons, the Weakly Mirror has been able to get away with lying on their editions because there was no other media to hold them accountable and challenge them. It was a modern day monopoly. With the rise of The Doghouse and The Daily Prophet, this has at least lessened the amount of lies spread by the Weakly Mirror and will hopefully stop them permanently in the near future.
JREED OBSESSION WITH ARCH NEMESIS XYSTARCH AND IT'S IMPACT!!
W: Continuing with the topic of Jreed, we have already mentioned how their arch nemesis is none other than Zenzeroni Xystarch II. This feud seems to have begun since before I joined the league so I don't have too much information on its origins but from looking through the general chat I have noticed Jreed has a clear obsession with Xystarch. A lot of their feuding has been fueled from media pieces written by both users which have gone to the next level in the chat. Jreed has claimed users have been warped and twisted by "the diabolical Xystarch" and has been seen to keep memes of Xystarch in their back pocket to use whenever suits them as necessary. (shown below):
It has even been confirmed by Gadget that the Berlin locker room has a chamber dedicated to Jreed cursing out Xystarch "like Dinkleberg from the fairly odd parents" tv show. Truly and obsession indeed if you ask us simple yappers. I fear this obsession may come over towards Higbee or myself as well in the foreseeable future as we have already been compared with our yapping levels compared to that of Jreed himself (although Higbee still clears easily). I would prefer to yap away in piece as having someone obsess over me like Mr. Turner obsesses over Dinkleberg is not ideal and can put a stain on the legacy of the Berlin locker room. While Xystarch user Zen has been going through a name change recently, Jreed has taken a media break on the Xystarch comments but I believe this will start up again as the season begins to go underway. I agree with my co-host Higbee that this obsession can simply be seen as a form of media hype but will it end? Or has this initial hype turned into true vengeance for Jreed and his followers over at the Weakly Mirror?H: This obsession is a weird one to monitor. It is quite subtle but, if you look for it, you will find it easily. It seems that Jreed looks up to Zen. There has not been an explicit reason but my thoughts are that Jreed wants to learn the media prowess of media great Zen. It is no secret that Zen has been a phenomenal author of some of the greatest media pieces the league has ever seen. His massive rants are loved by the community, at least most of them, and people continue to beg for a new one. I believe Jreed wants to know how to get media love like this since his Weakly Mirror is just not good enough to get hype. Everybody who writes media would want this anticipation while they are working on a media piece, but only the greats can get it. Jreed is trying to become such good friends with Zen that it is basically hype through association. Since Jreed clearly does not believe in his ability to write elite media all by himself to generate this hype, he is trying to latch onto Zen and get some of the hype by being associated with him. However, there are some instances when he tries to hide his obsession. For example, when Zen left the league on the night of March 23rd, Jreed tried to act happy that Zen was finally gone. He was either telling the truth because the pressure to create elite media greatly decreased or he was trying to draw suspicions of him latching onto Zen for media hype away by celebrating Zen’s departure. Either way, the obsession can be seen by some of the keen eyes in the server and Jreed clearly needs some help generating media hype. Because of these 2 things, I believe Jreed is trying to get media hype through association with Zen. Whether either of them will respond is unknown, but I am very curious to see if they have a different viewpoint.
ICEBEAR HAPPY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION ALL DAY EVERYDAY!!
W: What initially started as a "Happy Birthday Bamford" meme has recently been converted to saying happy birthday to our favorite HON GM Icebear. Initially started by rusfan on 1/14/2024, the user who thinks mayo + fries are the best (yuck), there has been a constant stream of "Happy Bday Icebear" posts in both the ISFL and DSFL servers. I have counted OVER 100 instances of users telling happy birthday to @IceBear32 which places our polar bear friend at the ripe age of 71 years old. This is a fairly old age for a polar bear so this may explain the tanking of HON as their GM may not know what is actually going on. Regardless, it has been fun to show the continuous support and remembering each birthday of Icebear (although Icebear commented no-one said happy birthday on their actual birthday so we should fix that for next year guys). Putting a good ole happy birthday icebear in the chat should continue to be a daily part of the conversation in the general chat and we will continue to monitor how old Ice is throughout the season as I believe the number will continue to get fairly high. What was the reasoning for starting this new meme? I don't know and don't know if we will ever know. Did that make sense? No. Oh well, moving on. HAPPY BIRTHDAY @IceBear32!!!H: Happy Birthday @IceBear32!
You know him, you love him (or you should), it is the glorious Honolulu Hahalua GM Icebear. He is a man of many birthdays and I am here to give 2 theories on why and how it is always his birthday. My first theory is that Icebears have a different calendar than humans do. They have a much quicker calendar, making an Icebear year happen every human day. This would make Icebear have a birthday every single day and would make sense why he gets birthday wishes so consistently. It is not that people just joke about Icebear’s birthday, this would be rude and unruly. It is the fact that his birthday calendar works differently so he has a birthday for almost every single human day. Nobody truly knows how the icebear calendar works but, based on Icebear always having birthdays, it is not a bad assumption that a year happens much quicker than a human year. Because of this, Icebear is always having birthdays.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY @IceBear32!!!
Another theory that I have is that, due to him being a bear, nobody knows when his birthday actually is. Because of this, people say happy birthday everyday to cover their bases. They do not want to miss the one day that it is actually his birthday, so they just say “HAPPY BIRTHDAY ICEBEAR!!!” every single day. Obviously no one truly knows, at least not to my knowledge, when his true birthday is so they celebrate everyday like it is Icebear’s birthday. And honestly, who does not want to celebrate Icebear everyday. He is the best GM in the league and will one hundred percent win general manager of the year in the near future. So yeah, he deserves to be celebrated everyday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY @IceBear32
VIVA LA REVOLUTION!! THE LINEBACKER DYNASTY RETURNS!!
W: Another interesting piece of chat history that has unfolded has shown many well known and new users converting from other important positions to linebacker. As a fellow linebacker myself I believe the LB dynasty is in full force due to the current set up of team defense schemes that gives the position a hefty stat line. We have seen recent ISFL draftees such as JJ What? who was known as a strong WR draft pick change to LB as well as many other recent ISFL members. This recent change in position economy has made the position a bit on the fuller side with more competition but I welcome it whole heartedly. Myself and Cynical in the rookie discord are always a fan of new linebackers joining our ranks and adding onto our LB dynasty for the S48 draft class. But what actually is causing this continuous switch from other positions to the glorious position of LB? Is it really the stat boost? Are ISFL GMs wanting more linebackers from known users? Only time will tell but we continue to embrace our fellow LB users as we stand strong against the other defensive positions that think they have an upper hand on us within the dot football field. The yapping community have deemed this move as the revolution and it grows stronger every day, allowing for new players to be apart of the elite set of users that enjoy being the commanders of the defense like myself. While this revolution kind of came out of nowhere, it is great timing for the league and for many DSFL and ISFL teams all around to have the ability of top notch players and upcoming rookies to star at the LB position.H: This has been a very weird and sudden thing. Out of nowhere, every single person in the league decided to switch to linebacker. Not actually, but it sure did feel like it. It all started with JJ What being traded to the Honolulu Hahalua, will not touch on the trade or situation, and then automatically swapped to LB. For some reason, this motivated tons of people to do the same. We have seen so many linebackers already with over 10 getting drafted to the ISFL but clearly that was not enough. We have seen a large number of creates choose to be a LB which is normal. However, some DSFL creates have already been swapped to LB. One of the more recent swaps was Draven Chanos, going from RB to LB. I, for one, am very curious if this was an organized revolution or if everybody just randomly decided to become a LB at relatively the same time. Willeh will probably have a better read on this section than I do, but I decided to share my thoughts anyways. I believe this just proves how entertaining of a position linebacker can be. I will be honest, I was very close to picking linebacker over tight end during my original creation. It gets the most stats on defense by far, racking up the tackles. If you want guaranteed stats and also want to play defense, this is one hundred percent the position to go to. So, in conclusion, this is not an organized revolution in my eyes. It just so happens linebacker is a popular position to choose.
TYLER HIGBEE II (WR) VS. TYLER HIGBEE II (TE)?!? AN IMPOSTOR IS AMONG US!!
W: What has confused many during the offseason, a new Tyler Higbee II has shown up in chats around the league with the WR tag being used. This user, eightytwo, who is in our own Portland locker room has changed their name and profile picture to replicate that of Higbee's. However there is one clear difference that can differentiate the two, the WR tag which we know the real Higbee would never take. This replication continued into our own locker room which seemingly confused both of our Python GMs. Bamford figured it out fairly quickly but was still confused while it took Jadda a double take or two in order to notice a difference in the name between the Pythons Hall of Famer and the current star Tight End. I'm a fan of this bit but at times it has been confusing remembering which is which and the impostor or "fake Higbee" can be seen roaming around at night so stay alert and be aware of your surroundings or you may get caught out by the false yapper! I believe this incident began due to the previous accusations that HON was trying to convert Higbee over to WR and some users jumped on the idea in order to cause further confusion around the league. While our favorite yapper is seen always talking throughout the league, if eightytwo is also involved in the same conversations I can see a decent amount of issues arising and many brows furrowing as a result.H: This is one that caught me very off guard. It came out of nowhere and I had no idea it was happening until I met the impersonator face to face. Eighty two has a solid impersonation resume from what I have known. This time, Eighty two decided to attack the strongest yapper in the land (voted via poll in the DSFL chat), Tyler Higbee II. However, there was one key differentiating characteristic. Eighty two’s full nickname was Tyler Higbee II (WR) while mine remained Tyler Higbee II (TE). Also, our roles do not match up since I wear my Portland Pythons and TE roles proudly. Eighty two’s only role was the Honolulu Hahalua role. That role allowed Eighty two to have the same color as I do, blending in perfectly for people who were not paying too much attention. Most of the impersonation happened while I was offline, to try and hide from me. However, I finally came face to face with the impersonator and got straight into questioning. From what I was told, there does not seem to be any underlying motivation for impersonating me. I thought it might have been to make it look like I was either chronically online (already am bud) or that I had position switched. There was an attempt to prank Icebear into switching my position to wide receiver but I quickly stopped that. I, obviously, do not want to abandon my TE brethren and my own public image by swapping to a different position. However, it was worrying that Icebear seemed to believe it. There have been previous rumors of Icebear wanting me to swap. I, however, did not realize how dangerous this want could be. He was fully ready to jump ship on my tight end dreams to better Honolulu. I do not necessarily blame him, I would have also wanted me to swap, but it is worrying how quick he jumped on the idea of me switching. Eighty two has been quite recently so there has not been any new information. I hope that eighty two remains quiet so I do not end up having to do damage control on my public image as a friendly neighborhood yapper.
DOGHOUSE IMPERSONATOR POSTS PUT BRAD WOOF ON THE DEFENSIVE!!
W: A special issue has been written up by our friend Brad Woof over at THE DOGHOUSE due to a slew of false Doghouse impersonator's showing up in the media channels. The initial impostor piece was written about the Doghouse's exclusivity with TIJ LB Rusty "Ferd" Shackleferd but it has since been confirmed that the Doghouse has no association with such a player. This new media outcry is concerning as we prefer to get truth from out media but impostor media sources have been showing up recently which makes no reputable sources safe for the unknowing user, including us! Multiple other Doghouse impersonator's have shown up including @lemonoppy (you aren't slick) who has tried to put false media out about an exclusive interview with another LB Thomas Sutha. Are you noticing more linebackers like we mentioned previously? Another user in @UptownCord has also begun slandering our friends at the Doghouse by calling our esteemed good boy Brad Woof, "Bad Woof". The sheer audacity has to be stopped in our beloved media forum!!! Both the AZ and OCO GMs have proven to not take our beloved media seriously by picking on the newly recruited pupper and media tycoon. I believe all media enjoyers should help put a stop to this and bring our media back to what it was before. This false media pieces are also only like 10 words so do I still have to grade that?? A measly $20k isn't going to help you but I digress.H: Yet again, another topic that I did not see coming whatsoever. A rookie basically tried to fake an interview with The Doghouse to get some media running. This caused a lot of confusion in the league since The Doghouse owner Brad Woof clearly got no cut of the media. It caused us to question the legitimacy of the interview. Thankfully, Brad was very quick to write an article addressing this situation. From what Brad wrote, it seemed like a misunderstanding that the rookie, Rusty Shackleferd, took too far. Rusty asked what some good media outlets in the league were. The Tijuana GM CROney justly responded saying that the best one around was The Doghouse. This statement is very accurate as The Doghouse has not had any of the intern or media scandals that the ISFL Weakly Mirror has had. The Doghouse also mentioned that they were told that Jreed and the Weakly Mirror could have been involved. Now I have been told directly from Brad that this was NOT an accusation, but definitely something interesting to keep an eye on. The Mirror was quick to respond to this, denying the allegations. I may not be a fan of the Mirror, but I do believe Jreed has the intent to produce good media and not mess with anybody. I was glad to see another quick response from one of the top media chains in the ISFL sharing their point of view. Thankfully, Brad decided to not press charges on the learning Shackleferd. He fully had that right but decided to hold back, wanting this young man to mature into a great media writer himself. I must say, it was a very mature and great decision from Brad. I read Rusty’s media and thoroughly enjoyed it and would love to see media written by him. If you are reading this Rusty, continue to make media. You set up a phenomenal storyline that I would love to see where it goes.
PRAISE JKORTESI AND THE MEDIA TEAM FOR 2X MOCK MEDIA!! HALLELUJAH!!
W: We want to take time at the end of this first volume in order to thank everyone at the media team, especially @JKortesi81 for 2x media. This especially applies to the permanent 2x media for mock drafts which has made many users around the league happy. One of these user's is our own Higbee who has written many mock drafts this past off season. This newly added 2x media is sure to get many new and creative media pieces written and posted and will continue to make the media graders earn their money (have fun grading this @lemonoppy since I can't). We at WHAT'S YAPPENING would like to express our thank you for these new media updates and hope we can see some interesting media show up as the season gets started!H: Dear Head Office and Media Department,
On behalf of the mock maniacs around the league, I would like to thank you all for incentivizing mock drafts. I believe this is the one thing the entire league can agree is a good read every single time as long as people take them somewhat seriously. Mock drafts are universally loved and I personally love creating them. By incentivizing the mocks further with a permanent 2x media bonus for 1 mock draft a season, we should see many more users making mocks which is always great to see. Who is not a fan of a good ole mock? This gives Icebear even more options for his draft picks which is something I bet he will be grateful for. Every mock helps the man since we all know that is all he relies on. Also, shoutout to the fantasy community. You rarely see fantasy media at all so hopefully this 2x bonus can spark some new fantasy media. It is one of the more under-appreciated parts of the league that I believe deserves more love. I know tons of people who would enjoy fantasy media, so this should help get some of the creative brains we have in the league begin to make them. All in all, thank you so much for better incentivizing some of my favorite media subjects to read about.
Sincerely,
Tyler “Yap God” Higbee II
This concludes Volume 1 of WHAT'S YAPPENING?! We look forward to yapping with you all next time but until then, stay yapping!
