“Fast food History “ - with Kansas City coyotes tight end Neil Bonnett
Neil Barnett has been selected as one of the best representatives from the DSFL too star in a new fast food review show. He will be traveling across the country trying out all of America’s fast food restaurants , tune in this Friday night at 8 PM Eastern time on TNT.

Summary- Neil Bonnett heads to North Carolina to one of the oldest and first ever McDonald’s to ever be made. He learns about the history of the franchise and meets one of the oldest working employees. Neil walks in to the sound of applause as all the employees and the owner were expecting him. The owner Janice Hall greets them and gave Bonnett and his sister a tour of the building . However much unlike other McDonald’s , this had a hall with pictures of the grand opening and she spoke about how it all started . She went on about the origin story and family ties. A very hungry Bonnett said he was told they’re nothing like trying a McDonald’s at the original McDonald’s , and was then brought to the kitchen to show how his order was being made. Patties actually being cooked on a grill was what impressed Bonnett the most. After a tour of the kitchen Bonnett sat down to eat. He spoke very highly of the double quarter pounder with cheese and bacon , saying it was the perfect mix of meat and salt. The French fries were cooked to a golden perfection. As a kid Bonnett said being poor meant ordering from the dollar menu. His all time favorite McDonald’s meal was a plain McDouble, a mcchicken , and chicken nuggets with buffalo sauce. His little sister ate a salad. Bonnett addressed the camera and said there’s nothing more classic in America than a McDonald’s and even though prices are getting higher. Their quality of food has improved greatly.

They talk about the current DSFL season and their hopes for winning a championship this year. They joke about the Jared from subway guy as they get into their Uber. They’re going to the busiest subway in America. This subway sits 50 feet from the Miami Beach and south beach border that sees over 100 thousand people a day in foot traffic. Subway bought back the franchise from a franchise owner I’m 2012 for 20 million dollars. They wanted the brand to be represented the best way possible at this location because of how busy it was. Bonnett and Purdy both ordered a sub. Purdy got tuna and Bonnett got a steak and cheese. The line was incredible and even though they didn’t have to they waited In line like everyone else. 20 minutes later they were sitting at a table with the sound of hundreds of people talking , laughing , and playing. Both men thoroughly enjoyed their subs but they couldn’t believe how busy this subway was. They learned from the owner it generates nearly 25 million dollars a year. So not bad for a subway. Bonnett asked why subs aren’t 5 dollars anymore too which he was told how much more the portions are today compared to before and how everything is kept way more fresh as well. With increase of processing they had to increase the cost of the sandwich.
