It feels like this is the case every season, but the biggest remaining game for playoff seeding is the week 16 matchup between the Arizona Outlaws and the San Jose Sabercats, hosed in San Jose. with only one game separating these two teams currently, and a similar strength of schedule remaining, it feels like this matchup could very well decide the second and third seed of the ASFC. This matchup historically has decided either first and second seed or second and third seed, depending on how the season has shaken up, and this season appears to be no difference. With San Jose having beaten Arizona in Arizona earlier this season, Arizona needs to win this game in order to have a chance at the second seed, which they would likely take on the conference record tie breaker with a win. The winner of this game will get the host the wild card round game which is a massive advantage.
With very competitive playoff races in both the ASFC and NSFC there are many primetime worthy games. Looking first to the NSFC, a very competitive race is brewing with the Hawks and Wraiths tied for first and Sarasota only a game behind. Also considering all three have 3 or 4 game win streaks there is ample primetime opportunity between the trio. The week 14 Hawks vs. Sailfish showdown is a massive game that could decide playoff seeding. Another big game is Wraiths vs Kaiju as Yellowknife could end Osaka's playoff hopes as well. Overall, these two games will be crucial in deciding the NSFC playoff picture. Over in the ASFC, Arizona has a chance to separate itself for the 3rd seed with a week 14 win while a New York win would put them in playoff position. One last game that definitively deserves primetime status is the week 16 matchup between NOLA and Baltimore as they currently lead there respective conferences and could be a potential Ultimus preview.

As we near the end of the season Alex is beginning to feel pressure to make more highlight plays - tackles for loss, sacks, and fumbles. Each of these kinds of plays could make the difference in a game result which could get us a conference title and first round bye in playoffs. in a personal view Alex is also feeling the pressure to make these plays because the Pro Bowl race is tight. One bad game, or an explosive tally count could make the difference between Alex or another DE in ASFC such as Liv making the Pro Bowl. This Pro Bowl could be Alex's 10th in a row, which only 5 others players in league history have earned. Or this Pro Bowl could be Alex's first one he misses in his whole career thus far. The out come will be completely dependent on these final few games. With two of the final three games occurring at San Jose, it should be fruitful for Alex to succeed in his goal.
The ASFC conference playoff race is heating up with Arizona, Austin and New York all vying for the final spot. Importantly for this conference however, games between all 3 teams occur in the final 3 weeks of the regular season so everything is all still to play for. The first key matchup is Arizona hosting New York in Week 14 in what could see this become a 2 horse race for the final playoff spot. If Arizona win, they hold a 2 game lead over New York and would hold the tie breakers over them with 2 head to head wins. However their run in sees them finishing the season with a tough road game in San Jose who would be unlikely to be resting any starters given playoff seeding would be potentially still on the line, as well as years and years of hurt from Arizona running the ASFC. This could make the W16 matchup of Austin in New York either a win and in for either team if the W14 matchup goes NY's way, or a tense scoreboard watching finish for Austin needing to overcome one final hurdle.
Week 13 has passed, Yellowknife has hit double digit wins, and is tied for leading the league with Baltimore. Yellowknife has lost to Baltimore twice, so Yellowknife will need to win at least 1 more game than Baltimore to get the top seed in the NSFC. Yellowknife has one game remaining against a playoff hopeful, but this team has been all but mathematically eliminated. Baltimore on the other hand plays a likely playoff team in Sarasota, and the ASFC's current top seed New Orleans Second Line in week 16. Baltimore @ New Orleans week 16 is the easily the primetime matchup, and may determine the 1 seed for both conferences. Changing the subject a bit, Yellowknife has many great players on both sides of the ball, but the true X factor is one a casual follower may not expect. The kicker/punter Zenzeroni Xystarch II. While his kicking may not be great, he is the greatest punter the ISFL has ever seen. Xystarch currently sits at a 48.6 punt average for the season, which is a fantastic amount, and has 30 punts inside the 20 on just 54 attempts (3% higher than the next closest player).
I would highlight any game that yellow knife is going to play in the next coming weeks. I think after we had some wild mediocre seasons following our altimus run, I think this is going to be our last chance to really make it in before we start regressing again. So I think it's going to be really exciting for us in particular I would watch our game versus Berlin. The only reason I say this is because I think that team could be a lot better than their record and our team could be a lot worse than our record and I know that we already have a history of losing to them As they are the only team besides Baltimore to beat us so far, I think we were the favorites to win last time, but after that it's really up in the air on how this goes. I think it could be really exciting and I know it's a game then I'll be paying a lot of attention to, I mean as the general manager I paid attention all the games but I think that one in particular is the biggest game throughout the rest of the season for us. And I'm thinking that will be the game that will clinch weather or not. We are in the playoffs
The DSFL South is so neck and neck right now it reminds me of some of these olympic races we’re seeing on the television every day. Every single team (including the Bondi Beach Buccaneers, by the graces of God himself) are able to make the playoffs. So you ask me what the most important game left is? I say every single divisional game in the DSFL South, regardless of who is playing in the game. As of today there are only four games left in the DSFL season, and it truly is anyones division. Although, the Birddogs do have the edge over the division with the tiebreakers considered, so they have the advantage now. Their most consequential matchup, however, will definitely be their week 14 game against Tijuana. That game will make or break both their and Tijuana’s postseason hopes. Whoever wins that game will more than likely be in the playoffs. And if it isn’t a playoff deciding game, then it’ll be a number one seed deciding game, which is just as consequential.

I'm sorry but this is the dumbest answer I've had to answer for a PT task in a long time and I've had to answer some PRETTY dumb questions. The obvious answer is ANY Yellowknife Wraiths game. Many people may have forgotten about us due to our consistency of being a middle of the pack team but we are currently tied for the best record in the ISFL. Our closest game will likely be Osaka where we may have a tough time but after that is what I would suggest to be the primetime game. Yellowknife vs Berlin. Yellowknife has lost three games in the entire season two times against the current conference leading Baltimore Hawks and one against the lowly Berlin Fire Salamanders. Yellowknife is looking for a big revenge game. This rivalry only grows due to Zenzeroni and Probincrux's animosity toward each other that could result in a benches clearing brawl. Whatever the case may be circle this game on your calendars because it's going to be a good one
Howdy! I am responsible for quite possibly the greatest kicker to ever grace the ISFL and am the most accomplished media writer the ISFL has ever seen (no need to ask anyone else regarding either of those claims)
