With the holidays around the corner and every middle aged woman in the world blasting Christmas music, Pentatonix has partnered with Fig Newton to star in their new holiday music video for their hit "We Wish You A Merry Christmas." After Norfolk's week 1 game, Worsethan Blaze @g2019 tweeted out "Feed us that Figgy Pudding" as wordplay on Newton's name. Since then, that line has blown up across the country and fans have shown viral videos of themselves swimming in and pouring pudding on themselves. Pentatonix will feature Newton in their music video as a cameo where he will be dancing in a pool of pudding. Fig was asked about this news at the team's most recent press conference and this is what he had to say, "I'm not sure about it, but my agent says there's no such thing as bad press so maybe this will help with my draft stock? And it will certainly make for some good scouting conversations."
Being so highly touted in the "yle" community, Lyle Taylor was invited by a potential member, Loyle Carner, to be featured in his new rap single. Loyle is trying to join the "yle" group but was having some debate over whether or not he should be accepted because of how his "yle" is pronounced. So to gain favor with the higher ups, Loyle came up with the great idea to have Lyle rap with him.
Loyle is a rapper from London and pitched to Lyle that they could make a diss track. So obviously, they made a diss track about former "yle" member and Lyle's nemesis, K Walker (the star footballer). The song had some absolute heaters in it like this bar, "word to my motha, kyle aint my brotha, and he's just anotha.. nobody." The song was such a hit that some music critics have started a petition to get Taylor in to the music industry so he can continue to share his word poetry. As for the music video, it was an homage to old 90's and early 2000's rap videos. Lyle and Loyle both sported baggy clothes and utlized a fish eye lens to really sell the aesthetic.
RE #38 is invited to sing in a pop punk bands single. its a song about how my parents never loved me despite growing up in an upper middle class lifestyle and how life was so hard. Which to be fair it was. But for real, RE #38 is glad to help kids growing up in tough situations find some solace in music. Its a powerful tool to escape and now that other people around the world are dealing with the same exact thing. It's even more powerful to know that someone you look up to like a musician or football player is dealing with the same sort of mental problems that effect everyone. Despite RE #38 really never dealing with a lot of mental health problems, they come from time to time and its important to talk about. Working with the band on the song was even cathartic to RE #38 in its own way. The music video was the band playing in an empty pool at a house party, as you do.
Swamp Maiden's guttural shrieks are well known within the throat singing community, noted for her wide range of both tone and volume - but a marked lack of emotion that goes well with background performances. This has made her something of a hit when it comes to featured work on albums throughout China and Mongolia, as well as the opportunity for broader appeal in western audiences and her home muckland of Musha'sha'. Here, she has been requested twice to perform at the annual Bog Ball - a celebration by swamp life, for swamp life. As for a music video, it's difficult considering the "fear" that many children have expressed when it comes to her outer appearance.
Regardless, she would likely want to participate in some fashion - likely concealed, if not wearing more traditional clothing than denizens of the swamps are used to. Regardless, it would be a great opportunity for her to express her talents in both the physical and auditory forms. I cant wait to see how it goes!
Miller Light was asked after the Seawolves 38-31 win over the Royals what music pumps him up. He was quick to answer that he always listens to Chance the Rapper before a big game to get in the zone. It didn’t take long for Chance to reach out to Light’s agent to get him involved in his next music video. Light was thrilled for the opportunity and spit a couple bars on the artist’s upcoming album. Miller is looking forward to having the next mixtape drop to get him hyped for the second half of the season.
The quick and witty style of Chance complemented the intensity of Miller on the tracks. Light was recently asked about the possibility of a music career after football, his answer was that football, the Seawolves, and the ISFL draft are his number one focus right now, but a future music career is very possible.
Zenzeroni would have the perfect idea in mind when it comes to song and genre. It would be a beautifully sung 1 hour ballad as he plays the piano masterfully until someone decides to get up to go to the bathroom during his performance. His calm zen-like demeanor would shift and he would find if harder and harder to keep his angelic voice from shifting to rage until he wouldn't be able to stand it anymore. He would slam the mic on the ground sprint off stage and come back with an electric guitar in hand with a new voice-modifying mic and start going to town turning the ballad into a heavy metal song within a matter of seconds. Once he finally finished the song he would smash the guitar as you are required to do in such circumstances and storm off the stage despite his adoring fans demanding an encore.
Howdy! I am responsible for quite possibly the greatest kicker to ever grace the ISFL and am the most accomplished media writer the ISFL has ever seen (no need to ask anyone else regarding either of those claims)

After getting a new agent in the offseason, Ace had a new offer given to him that his old agent had, the opportunity to star in a new hit single and Ace gets to pick the genre. He knew first off it wouldn't be country, because that was easily his least favorite genre. He didn't want to be too mainstream so he didn't want to go with pop, so he decided to hop on a new rap track. The main reason was because he didn't need any singing ability to make a good song, as well as sport references always being prevalent in the genre. In the music video, he danced along slowly while the main star sung the main chorus, kind of like the Kawhi Leonard appearance in the Drake music video. After making multiple football and otter references in the song, Ace resigned himself to being the backup dancer and made bank in his first ever music appearance, hopefully the first of many.
Klaus has always been a big fan of indie music, so when Rebounder, a small band from New York, reached out to him to join them for a song, Klaus was uncharacteristically excited. While enduring countless battles in Hellsalem's Lot, formerly NYC, the music by Rebounder alongside many indie bands motivated Klaus to keep up the good fight. Klaus expressed to the band that he wanted the song to demonstrate themes of emerging from a victorious battle, and deservedly staking claim to what's yours. While the music video would obviously include a montage of Klaus' best fights in Hellsalem's Lot mixed with his best pancakes for Norfolk, to portray that no matter what fight you may be battling, you have the power to come out on top as long as you don't let your spirit become discouraged, and continue to take that single step forward. Rebounder welcomed Klaus' ideas, and felt that it matched well with some of the themes the band has previously sang about, namely about living a life that you want most, even if the world around you isn't as glorious as it seems.
Pitter Patter only likes one kind of music: Country Music. So the genre is pretty much well set, if it is not Country then he will not take part in any production. But it will not be any of that political Country. It will be a plain and fun tailgate and beer country music song. Pitter Patter does not even have to be able to sing for it. Overly auto-tuned software will take care of that part. So it is all about the message of plain fun, late nights on the farm, cracking a beer open in front of the barn on the bed of your truck and enjoying the sunset with the lady. The music video? Also plain and simple. Find a nice location in the fields of Ontario, preferably wheat or corn and put the truck there. Electric guitar in hand, dart in the mouth that is how it will go. No fancy special effects, just nice camera shots and the countryside.
Ace's favorite song has always been "All The Tired Horses" by Bob Dylan. A favorite amongst his friend group at parties, it has always had a special place in his heart. At their favorite bar, after bowling, the group would make sure to stand around the jukebox with a tall, cool Budweiser in hand, and the whole bar would watch as they would perfectly match the otherworldly tune. After a night out with the Ace and the boys, his agent witnessed the spectacle and realized he now knew his life's purpose. He immediately got in contact with Bob Dylan's representatives and was able to get permission to use the song. Ace and The Boys, release a hauntingly beautiful single cover on vinyl. It was an immediate classic. Records were flying off the shelves, phonographs were in their highest demand since the 60s, and everyone was listening to the cover. All proceeds would go to charity, helping to make sure that no horse was ever tired underneath the sun again.
